Pray the Psalms in your own words, one verse at a time.

You want to pray more. You've started before. Then a few days slipped by, the dated pages started to feel like a report card, and the journal went back on the shelf.

The Psalms Project Prayer Journal was built for exactly that. It's an undated prayer journal for women that walks you through all 150 Psalms, one verse a day, with the Scripture already printed on the page and the words to start praying it.

Why the Psalms?
Because they're 150 prayers from people who brought God everything: joy, fear, anger, grief, doubt. "Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us" (Psalm 62:8, ESV). If you've ever thought your prayers weren't meaningful enough, or you didn't know what to say, this is your permission to pour it out, in words that are already Scripture.

Each day:

  • One verse, printed on the page (ESV). No flipping to look it up.
  • One reflection question. Answer it or skip it.
  • A.C.T.S. prayer prompts for that verse: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication. Use the prewritten lines or write your own.
  • Room to actually pray on paper, not just bullet points. Full prayers, lists, stories. Or three lines on a hard day. That counts.

The Psalms Project Prayer Journal: Undated Prayer Journal

    Undated on purpose

Miss a day. Miss a month. Pick up where you left off, with no doubling up and no "I should be on day 60." There's a spot to write the date if you want it. Nothing on the page tells you you're behind.

    Look inside the journal

The journal was made with your input: prayer request pages sorted by topic (family, finances, government, goals, missionaries), Answered Prayers pages to record how God responded, notes pages, and links to resources on the Psalms and prayer.

    You asked—I answered!

    What Bible translation is used?

    The ESV (English Standard Version).

    Is it dated?

No. There's an optional line to write the date, but nothing is numbered by day of the year. Start any time and skip any time.

What if I miss a day, or a month?

Pick it up where you left off. A three-line prayer counts, and there's room for a full page when you have it.

    What is the A.C.T.S. method?

Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication. It's one sentence of praise, one of confession, one of gratitude, and one asking for a need. Each day has prewritten lines based on that day's verse. Use them or write your own.

How long will it take to arrive?

Current processing time is 3–4 business days, with an additional 2-7 business days for delivery. I do our best to ensure your package arrives safely and as quickly as possible!

Do I have to answer the reflection question?

No. It's there if you want it.

    Is this good for beginners?

Yes. The verse, reflection question, and prayer prompts are on every page, and the front of the journal explains why the Psalms matter and why prayer feels hard.

    Does it explain each verse?

No. It's a prayer journal, not a commentary. Each day gives you the verse, one reflection question, and prayer prompts. The back of the journal lists articles, books, and videos on the Psalms if you want to go deeper.

How big is it? Will it fit in my Bible bag?

t's 7.5" x 10", built to sit open on your desk or table. It's not a pocket-size journal but can fit most tote bags or medium-sized backpacks.

Do I need The Psalms Project book to use this?

No. The journal stands on its own.

    What happens next...

    • Add the journal (and the book, calendar, maybe a second one for a gift?) to your cart.

    • Cross a few names off your gift list—we like to shop smart & gift intentionally here.

    • Tear open the package and admire your journal (and gifts), and start studying the Psalms!

Your purchase helps *more* than just my small business...

    • Money Matters

We "live like no else, so latter, we can live and give like no one else." With open hands, we do what we can to live generously with the money God has given to Mercy Creates.

Each month, we give a set amount (not dependent on sales) to organizations, and you can read more about them below.

    • Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe Bible Translators believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us — something that everyone should be able to understand for themselves. Bible translation is critical for real transformation: When people encounter Jesus through Scripture in their own language, lives often change in amazing ways!

We give to the “Urgent Needs” which will “enables us [WBT] to respond to new opportunities quickly and ensure that critical projects receive the financial resources they need.”

    • Voice of the Martyrs

Despite growing efforts within hostile areas and restricted nations to suppress and eradicate believers’ witness for Christ—imprisoning and torturing pastors, destroying church buildings, and banning and burning Bibles—our brothers and sisters have remained faithful to Christ at great personal cost.

However, a Bible in these countries can be illegal or extremely difficult to acquire. There is a significant need for God’s Word in these places, where the Bible is treasured but not easily obtained. Despite significant risk, Christians in these countries are asking for God’s Word.

    Mercy Creates

Designing artwork that creates opportunities for Christ-centered conversations in your home

It's nice to meet you! 👋🏼

I’m Rachel, and my husband and I have spent 5 years of missions work in an urban apartment complex. Our 1,100-square-foot apartment was important to us… and the 300+ residents we served. During those years, we intentionally used every asset we had to share the Gospel, and now, I’m encouraging women to do the same with their home decor.

As a modern watercolor artist and graphic designer, I thrive in creating pieces that help women have Christ-centered conversations.
